I've been lucky to call the Pacific Northwest home for most of my life. Like many Washington natives, outdoor adventure is my love language. After I climbed Mt. Rainier twice, my Mom asked if I would consider taking up knitting. Unfortunately for her, sitting around gives me hardcore FOMO. Sorry Mom!
The feeling of being fully, physically alive in my skin, with all of my senses awakened by nature's elements, is what I live for. I want you to experience this way of being on the most important day of your life.
I coddiwompled my way down this adventure photography path while working in traditional corporate marketing, developing content for international outdoor retailers. My work in visual storytelling took me from California to Arizona then back to Seattle and on to Oslo, Norway.
My experience living abroad, in a place where the human connection with the natural world is celebrated as a cultural philosophy, has molded me into the mindful artist I am today.

I love to steep my life in adventure, but I balance the busyness with experiences that allow me to just be. Slow an intentional is definitely my speed.
At home I bring the inside outside when and I spend a lot of time attempting to keep house plants and container gardens alive, and creating nature inspired space for my cats to enjoy when I'm traveling. I love hanging out in my inflatable traveling hot tub that I keep in my garage (or in the back of my car).
I knew I was meant to photograph couples in nature professionally, after leading and photographing a group of six international couples on a five day journey through Norway's fjords while on a work assignment. I snapped away at big landscapes and small people, and I was hooked. It doesn't get much better than true love and the great outdoors.

As we like to say here in the north, "There is no bad weather, only bad gear." My pop-up changing room, portable heater, retractable awning, and walkie talkies travel with me on every trip so you can stay warm, dry, safe, and comfortable. You can change your outfit on the trail and stay in contact when we're out of cell service.
When planning a full-day adventure wedding, your photographer needs to be both a talented artist and an experienced adventure expert, well equipped for any situation. When you elope with me, you get both. I'm trained, certified, and able to navigate the unpredictable.

I love getting out on my SUP, surf board, kayak, or pack raft as much as I love being in my climbing harness, or skiing uphill on a volcano. Mother Nature can be wild and unpredictable, but I'm ready to handle whatever she dishes out. Weddings that take me from sea to summit and everywhere in between are my jam.
